Read-only means read-only.
Web sign-in asks only for your public GitHub identity and grants no repository access. For an eligible private pull request, the read-only Action fetches the diff inside GitHub and sends only the bounded review input—not its GitHub token.
Does it write to my repository?
No. It never commits, comments, labels, merges, or requests repository write access.
Can it review private repositories?
The web app cannot open a private repository URL. The read-only Action can review an eligible same-repository private pull request while its GitHub token stays inside GitHub Actions. Only the bounded diff and minimal pull-request metadata are sent for analysis.
What does one review include?
A merge decision, cited risks, missing tests, remediation, verification steps, and an exportable Markdown report.
What happens after the three free reviews?
