PDF Anything
Privacy policy
Effective July 29, 2026
PDF Anything is designed to turn a PDF you choose into a file you control without sending the document or its financial contents to Needly Labs.
Information the application handles
PDF Anything reads only a PDF file you explicitly select. It handles the file name, type, byte size, page count, PDF metadata, and extractable text and layout coordinates required for conversion. If a selected PDF is encrypted, the password you enter is passed only to the local PDF parser for the active session.
In bank-statement mode, the application derives possible dates, descriptions, debits, credits, signed amounts, balances, currencies, confidence, and source evidence. It also handles corrections and exclusions you make. Windows Pro accounting exports use account type, account identifier, currency, bank identifier, and QuickBooks institution identifier only when you enter them.
Where document data is processed and stored
Document bytes, passwords, extracted text, transactions, corrections, and export metadata remain in active application memory. ChoosingRemove, reloading, or closing the application clears that active state. Downloaded outputs remain wherever you chose to save them.
The installable web app can cache its static application shell: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, icons, and packaged conversion libraries. It does not put selected PDFs, passwords, document text, transactions, corrections, reconciliation results, export metadata, or outputs in Cache Storage, localStorage, IndexedDB, cookies, or a Needly Labs service.
The packaged Windows edition bundles the application shell locally and creates no document history or application database. Windows may retain ordinary operating-system records such as the installed-app entry and an output file you explicitly save.
Network and permissions
The web app uses the file picker only when you invoke it. Normal web hosting serves and updates the static application shell; document conversion itself makes no network request.
The packaged Windows interface loads bundled code from its local app origin. Its document renderer blocks HTTP and HTTPS, exposes no Node.js API, denies permission requests, and permits only a visible support email action chosen by the user.
Review and exported files
You select each PDF, enter any required password, control regional parsing options, review and correct or exclude rows, choose an output, and start every download. Export is blocked while dates remain unresolved or currencies conflict. A reconciliation mismatch requires explicit acknowledgement.
Accounting files can contain the reviewed transactions, source evidence, and account metadata required by the chosen format. PDF Anything does not connect to a bank, QuickBooks, Xero, or another accounting service and does not import the file. After download, you control where it is stored or shared.
Pro checkout and licensing
When you continue to checkout, Paddle processes customer, payment, tax, receipt, renewal, and cancellation information as merchant of record. The application will never send Paddle a PDF, password, transaction row, source excerpt, correction, or output file.
The licensing design uses a small Needly Labs fulfillment service to verify signed Paddle subscription events and create or update a product-scoped license in Keygen. Verified events are placed in a Cloudflare Queue so temporary provider failures can be retried. The queued data is limited to Paddle event, subscription, transaction, price, status, and billing-period identifiers and timestamps. Failed items may remain in a restricted dead-letter queue until Needly Labs retries or deletes them under the launch retention runbook.
A Windows activation request contains only the license key, a random installation fingerprint, and entitlement state. The encrypted local license record can be checked, deactivated, or forgotten from the app. Document contents and accounting-export fields are excluded from commerce, queues, and licensing calls.
Scanned statements and automated decisions
PDF Anything supports born-digital PDFs with extractable text. It reports image-only scans as unsupported instead of sending them to an OCR or AI provider. It does not categorize transactions or make accounting, tax, payment, legal, or financial decisions.
