You can scan your catalog and generate up to 25 successful AI drafts without paid-plan approval or an app charge. Review, editing, safe apply, history, guarded undo, export, and deletion remain available for those drafts.
Does scanning change my catalog?
No. Scanning is read-only. It records product-image details so the app can show which images are missing alt text.
Will AltSentry overwrite existing alt text?
No. Existing descriptions are preserved, and AltSentry rechecks Shopify immediately before applying an approved update.
Does the app guarantee SEO rankings or compliance?
No. Clear alt text supports image understanding and accessibility, but AltSentry does not promise rankings, traffic, or legal compliance.
What data goes to the AI provider?
