Source-linked rows
Page number, line number, raw date, confidence, and original text stay with the extracted transaction.
Convert a text-based PDF bank statement into editable Excel or CSV rows, compare every transaction with its source, and check the opening-to-closing balance before the data enters your books.
For born-digital PDFs with selectable text. Scanned or image-only statements are reported as unsupported. Always review the result before using it in bookkeeping, accounting, tax, or payment work.

A controlled three-step close
The app is built around the part that generic PDF converters skip: proving that the rows you received match the statement you selected.
Select a born-digital PDF. If it is encrypted, enter its password locally for the active session. Nothing is uploaded.
Correct dates, descriptions, amounts, or balances; exclude a false row; and inspect the page, line, and original source text.
Opening balance plus movement is checked against closing balance. Unresolved dates, mixed currencies, and mismatches stay explicit.
The verification desk
Review is not a six-row preview. Search the full transaction set, move through pages, undo edits, and keep the source evidence beside the row under inspection.
Page number, line number, raw date, confidence, and original text stay with the extracted transaction.
Change a date, description, amount, or balance, exclude a row, and undo without altering the original PDF.
Totals and opening-to-closing movement recalculate as you edit so a discrepancy cannot disappear behind a polished file.
Unresolved dates, conflicting currencies, missing account metadata, or an unacknowledged mismatch block the affected export.
Useful free. Faster when the work repeats.
The public converter and Microsoft Store app include review, reconciliation, Excel, and CSV without an account. Pro is for repeated close work and accounting-specific formats.
Test your own statement in the free workflow before you buy. Pro requires Windows 10 or 11; the web converter remains the free single-statement edition. Scans are unsupported in both editions.

Private by architecture
The web app processes the selected document in your browser. The packaged Windows interface is bundled locally and blocks document processing from making web requests.
Questions before you choose a statement
Bank layouts vary. PDF Anything exposes ambiguity and keeps the final bookkeeping decision with the person reviewing the source.
No. The selected PDF, password, extracted text, corrections, and exports stay in your browser or installed Windows app. Needly Labs receives none of the document content.
Not yet. PDF Anything supports text-based PDFs. It rejects image-only scans instead of guessing with unreviewed OCR.
No. Windows Pro prepares reviewed QuickBooks CSV, Xero CSV, QBO, OFX, or QIF files locally. You remain responsible for reviewing and importing the file.
The mismatch stays visible. You can compare each row with its source evidence, correct or exclude rows, and must explicitly acknowledge an unresolved mismatch before export.
Try the complete review loop
Use the invented sample first, or select a text-based statement when you are ready. Review every row before you rely on the export.
